These phones will not support WhatsApp since July 1

Technology

As of July 1, WhatsApp will no longer be in Microsoft Store, meaning that phones with Windows Phone operating system will no longer be able to download the app. It is recommended not to uninstall it until you acquire a new cell phone.

From December 31 of this year, you can not continue using the app, as announced months ago by the company. No smartphone with Windows Phone will be able to continue using this messaging service.

As the app for those operating systems is no longer being developed, some functions may stop operating correctly.

At the same time, the following platforms will no longer be able to create new accounts or re-verify existing profiles. However, if you already have WhatsApp, you can continue using it until the following dates: in the case of Android with operating system 2.3.7 or earlier, as well as iPhone with iOS 7 or earlier will have this tool until February 1, 2020. Little remains!

There is no way to migrate the history of conversations between devices with different operating systems, from the same platform; although there are some third-party apps that allow this transfer.

What you can do from WhatsApp, is choose to receive the history of chats by email. You have to enter Settings, pressing the three points in the upper right margin, then go to Chats / Chat history/export chat and select all the conversations you want to save. It is easy!
