One question which Apple might be required to tackle in 2018 is, whether they would go big or prefer going cheap.
The organization has plans to get three brand new models introduced later in the year, which might well have quite a considerably bigger version of the iPhone X, with iPhone X Plus and it is supposed to be relatively less expensive compared to the previous version. It would be good to note the fact that price has not been a major hurdle for the premium flagship till now. Despite their most expensive phone ever, being priced at $999, £999 and in Australia, it was priced at AU$1579, happened to be the iPhone X, which was the best-selling phone during the first quarter of 2018 and that got followed by the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. The fact is that their new version which is less expensive would enable the company to widen the market in which it gets addressed.
Some of the designs have been refined and along with the addition of few brand new features, Apple is most likely to get the annual enhancements delivered as per expectations, through new build materials, colours, and break in the speed of processing, better screen resolution, and other necessary adjustments in order to enhance battery life.
In the meantime, the world surrounding Android continues to give reactions and responses to the iPhone X model. During the I/O event in May, Google had displayed the new interface which was based on gestures, right in the middle of their new Android P operating system. Then there is also the AR emoji of Samsung and features like Intelligent Scan, the lower versions, Animoji of iPhone and also Face ID, which indeed does not have the same value compared to the originals.
Apple has not yet made the official announcement for the launch of their next phone, but as per previous timings of start, it can be expected that they can come up with the new models in September.
