There are rumours revolving around Intel, who is supposed to introduce their 9th generation processors of 8 cores in the month of October. The 10nm Cannon Lake Chips launch of Intel has got delayed till next year, while the year 2018’s refresh would be based on bringing forth improvements to the existing process of 14nm. According to the reports published by Wccftech, Intel would come up with their new Core i9, i7 and i5 chips on 1st of October, which would get branded as the processors of the 9th Generation.
Intel’s Core i9-9900K, the mainstream flagship processor, is being expected to get shipped along with 8 cores and 16 threads. Certain documents that have got leaked show that this is going to be the first Core i8 desktop processor of the mainstream range and is set to include 16 MB of L3 cache and their UHD 620 graphics card. The i7 core processor of Intel 9th generation is also expected to be shipped alongside 8 cores and 8 threads, while the i5 Core getting shipped with 6 cores and 6 threads.
As per the reports, Intel is about to first come up with the launch of their unlocked overclockable processors, which would be followed up by more number of processors of the 9th generation during the early part of next year. If the information related to the 1st October launch, is true, then people can expect to take a look at all these processors that would be available in machines of different varieties during the latter part of 2018. One thing is for sure, that anyone who is building up their own rig, would surely want to see, exactly how the latest processors from Intel are in comparison to the Ryzen chips of AMD, which are used for the purpose of playing games and carry out other tasks, before the parts get picked up. The expectation is that people would start to get the answers to all their queries in the latter half of the next month.
